Organizations are not only formal structures. They are also networks of relationships through which people exchange knowledge, seek advice, develop ideas, coordinate work, and solve problems.
Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) makes these relational structures visible and provides tools for studying how they shape organizational processes.
My approach to ONA draws on social network analysis and sociological research on organizations, groups, and social structure. The objective is not simply to map connections, but to understand which relationships matter, why they emerge, and what organizational consequences they have.
The organization chart shows where authority sits.
The network shows how work gets done.
My work combines research in social network analysis with applications to organizations, scientific communities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and institutional systems.
